Options
-
Systematic Withdrawal Plan
Correct answer
- B
Systematic Transfer Plan
- C
Systematic Investment Plan
- D
None of the above
Why this is the answer
The Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) allows investors to withdraw a fixed amount at regular intervals, which serves a similar purpose to Income Distribution Cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) pay-outs. However, in an SWP, the amount is compulsorily withdrawn, whereas in the IDCW option, the dividend is paid out based on the fund’s surplus.
