Why now

I'm not from a finance background. Can I really do this?
About 60% of our distributors aren't. Teachers, engineers, homemakers, retired officers. The only qualification is the NISM V-A exam, which is designed to be passable by anyone with a 10+2. Most of our learners get through it in about six weekends of self-study.
I have a full-time job. How much time does this need?
Most distributors start part-time. Onboarding a client takes about 30 minutes; a quarterly review takes an hour. The trail keeps accruing while you're at your day job. Most people quit only around year 3, when the trail crosses their salary.
I'm not a salesperson. Where will my clients come from?
Your first 5 to 10 clients come from people you already know: family, colleagues, neighbours. This is portfolio guidance, not cold selling. After the first year, referrals typically carry the volume.
What does it cost to start?
Almost nothing. There are two regulator fees: the NISM V-A exam (~₹1,500, paid to NISM) and ARN registration (~₹3,000, paid to AMFI, valid three years). Many networks also charge ₹5,000–7,000 in enrollment or subscription fees on top; zfunds charges no enrollment, subscription, or platform fee.
When do I see my first commission?
Trail is paid monthly. Your first credit lands roughly 30 to 45 days after your first client's SIP or lumpsum goes through.
Why MFD and not an LIC agency or a bank RM job?
Income shape. An LIC agent's commission is front-loaded and decays after year one. A bank RM's salary stops the day they leave. An MFD's trail is paid every year on the entire book, keeps compounding even if you pause, and has no ceiling. It is also the lightest of the three on regulation and setup cost.
What if I don't clear NISM V-A on the first attempt?
You can retake it any time; the exam fee is the only cost. Learners who prepare with our free mock tests clear it on the first attempt about 92% of the time.
Am I too old to start?
